The Role
The school are looking for a proactive and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils on a one-to-one and small group basis. Responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils with SEN in and out of the classroom
- Delivering targeted interventions and tailored learning support
- Helping pupils build confidence, independence and social skills
- Supporting behaviour management and emotional regulation
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and parents
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
- Experience supporting children with SEN
- A calm, patient and positive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children's development
- The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
- Relevant SEN experience or training is desirable
