We are working with a welcoming and well-established primary school in Barnet seeking a full-time SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a team player with an outgoing personality who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs.
The role will be based within an Alternative Resource Provision (ARP) within a mainstream setting, supporting a pupil with Autism.
You will play a key role in providing consistent, structured support to help the pupil engage with learning, develop social skills, and regulate within the school environment.
The ideal candidate will
- Have previous experience working with children with Autism (essential)
- Be a patient, nurturing and resilient individual
- Be a team player with a positive, proactive attitude
- Be confident supporting behaviour, communication and emotional regulation
- Be adaptable and able to work within a structured, supportive provision
