Are you passionate about supporting children with additional needs and looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? We are working with a welcoming mainstream school in Barnet that is seeking enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants to join their team from September.
The successful candidates will provide 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs across KS2, helping them access learning, build confidence and develop their independence within the classroom.
The Role:
- Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with additional needs
- Work across KS2
- Support pupils with their learning, engagement and social development
- Help children access the curriculum and participate positively in school life
- Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils
- Work closely with teachers and the wider SEN team to support individual needs
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have previous experience working with children with additional needs
- Ideally have experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or similar setting
- Be patient, nurturing and understanding
- Be proactive, adaptable and confident
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Be passionate about helping children reach their full potential
