SANZA Teaching Agency is delighted to be working with a wonderful two-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Islington, seeking an enthusiastic, nurturing and experienced Early Years Educator / EYFS Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team as soon as possible.

The school is looking for someone who is confident working within EYFS, can hit the ground running and is passionate about supporting young children's learning and development.
The Role - Early Years Practitioner/EYFS TA
- Position: Early Years Educator / EYFS Teaching Assistant
- Location: Islington, North London
- Start Date: ASAP
- Contract: Full-time maternity cover until at least July 2027
- Working Days: Monday to Friday, 5 days per week
- Hours: 8:30am-3:30pm (4:30pm finish on Mondays for staff training)
- Pay: £100-£120 per day PAYE, depending on experience and qualifications
- Age Group: EYFS - Children aged 3-5 years
Key Responsibilities
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging, creative and stimulating EYFS activities.
- Work with children aged 3-5 years, supporting their learning, development and wellbeing.
- Encourage learning through play, exploration and continuous provision.
- Provide individual and small-group support, adapting activities to meet children's needs.
- Support children's early communication, language, literacy, numeracy and social development.
- Help create a safe, nurturing and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels valued. xgikmsk
- Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to ensure children make excellent progress.
