Teaching Assistant Early Years/Reception Newham September 2026 Do you have a passion for working in the early years and contributing to laying down the positive foundations and first learning experiences of young children?

SANZA Teaching Agency are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a warm and welcoming primary school in the London borough of Newham.

They are looking for a teaching assistant to work in the early years/reception.

As a Teaching Assistant working within early years/reception, you will work closely with class teachers and the school's SEND team to provide tailored support for pupils with a range of additional needs.

You will help children access learning, build confidence, develop social skills and celebrate their individual successes every day.

Details: The role be working on a 1:1 basis with a small group of students with additional needs.

The role starts in September 2026 and will be full-time for the whole academic year.

About you: Must be patient, empathetic, and possess strong communication and teamwork skills Must have previous experience working within the early years (nursery/reception) Must have previous experience working with SEN/Autism Ideally hold a minimum CACHE Level 3 early years qualification ie be a qualified nursery nurse/early years professional Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.

Be proactive, flexible and willing to adapt to the individual needs of each child.
