SANZA Teaching Agency is working in partnership with a well-organised and high-achieving 2-form entry primary school in Redbridge to recruit an experienced SENDCo for a full academic year maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and knowledgeable SEND professional to join a supportive school from the start of the academic year and lead provision with impact. The Opportunity
This is a full-time SENDCo role, including one day per week of teaching, allowing you to balance strategic leadership with classroom practice. You will take responsibility for SEND across a well-structured school with clear systems and a collaborative leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
- Oversee and coordinate annual reviews and statutory processes
- Support and develop staff through coaching, guidance, and modelling best practice
- Work closely with SLT to maintain high standards of inclusion
- Ensure compliance with current SEND legislation and best practice
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds the NASENCo qualification (or has equivalent experience)
- Experienced in managing EHCPs and annual reviews
- A confident and supportive lead
