A welcoming and supportive one-form entry primary school based in Islington is looking to appoint an experienced Reception Teacher to join their EYFS team from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and creative EYFS practitioner who is committed to delivering engaging learning experiences and supporting children through the early stages of their education.
The Role:
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 08:30am - 4:00pm
- September 2026 start
- Inner London MPS 1-6
- £206.75 - £268.21 PAYE per day
- Full class teacher responsibilities

The ideal candidate will:
- Be an experienced Primary Teacher with QTS (ECTs will not be considered)
- Have strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Curriculum
- Be confident delivering high-quality phonics teaching
- Create engaging, creative and stimulating lesson plans that inspire young learners
- Be passionate about supporting children's development and successful transition into KS1
- Have strong behaviour management and assessment skills
- Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff
