SANZA Teaching Agency, part of Tradewind Recruitment, is currently recruiting experienced and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs) for full-time positions in Hackney primary schools starting this September. We are partnering with a range of supportive and forward-thinking schools across Inner London who are looking for confident HLTAs to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.
The Role:
- Support teachers in delivering high-quality lessons across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
- Lead small group interventions and targeted support sessions
- Cover whole classes when required (planned teacher absence/PPA cover)
- Assist in planning, preparing, and adapting learning materials
- Monitor and assess pupil progress
- Promote positive behaviour and a safe learning environment
- Work closely with teachers and senior leadership teams
What We're Looking For:
- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience (essential)
- Experience working in a primary school setting
- Confidence in leading whole-class learning when required
- Strong communication and behaviour management skills
- A proactive, flexible, and supportive approach
- A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
