Responsible for Heavyline Products reporting to the Business Development Director, with overall responsibility for machine sales growth to end users and key accounts.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
- Managing and supporting the SANY Dealer Network and the Direct Sales teams with growing the Large Excavator business whilst maintaining a strong and long-term relationship with all customers and SANY dealers.
- Developing leads and contacting potential customers, and facilitating relationships with the current distribution partners.
- Defining and implementing a strategy to ensure market share growth of SANY Heavyline machinery.
- Direct machine sales, determine market share, brand penetration, marketing strategy.
- Understanding key customer needs and requirements and communicating this back into the business for R & D to action.
- Perform regular visits to the dealers, end users and trade shows.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations of progress, measures and forecasts, market analysis.
- Act as communication link between Dealers, key customers, and internal teams.
- Dealer development, implement market strategy and segmentation.
- Work closely with the service and product teams and external attachment suppliers to ensure SANY has the right product offering.
- Provide input to marketing to create and update materials such as price lists, catalogues, events and promotions.
- Communicate and report on a regular basis to the relevant teams within business.
Skills and Experience:
- 5 years Sales experience in Heavyline Construction Equipment such as large excavators, dump trucks, dozers, wheel loaders etc.
- Good Knowledge of standard software applications, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook.
- Very good communication and negotiation skills.
- Existing relationships with large rental/construction companies will be a distinct advantage.
- Applicants will ideally be educated to University degree level preferably in a technical discipline and possess considerable sales, key account management and dealer development experience within construction equipment sector in England.
