The candidate will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
- Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans, action plans and strategies
- Meet or exceed defined sales targets
- Maintain open communication and collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including Product, Sales Planning, etc. to maximize revenue
- Directly contributing to product development process through active participation in product reviews by providing market & client insights
- Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the companyβs unique selling propositions and differentiators
- Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers of dealers and customers
- Develop leads and build the pipeline
- Negotiate pricing, prepare proposals and close sale
- Partner with the Account Management team to service, maintain and grow current clients
- Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts
- Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers
Qualifications & Experience
- Solid Sales Experience with construction machinery (ideally excavators)
- Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems
- Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
