Responsibilities

  • The candidate will excel at creating and closing new opportunities.
  • By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.
  • Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans, action plans and strategies.
  • Meet or exceed defined sales targets.
  • Maintain open communication and collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including product, sales planning, etc. to maximize revenue.
  • Directly contribute to the product development process through active participation in product reviews by providing market & client insights.
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
  • Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers of dealers and customers.
  • Develop leads and build the pipeline.
  • Negotiate pricing, prepare proposals and close sales.
  • Partner with the account management team to service, maintain and grow current clients.
  • Sales payment collection.
  • Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts.
  • Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Solid sales experience with construction machinery (ideally excavators).
  • Solid quota carrying sales experience.
  • Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems.
  • Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A great work ethic.
