We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Intern to join our team. This role offers a fantastic opportunity for a current university student to gain hands-on experience in the full recruitment lifecycle and general HR administration. You will play a key role in identifying top talent for our technical development teams and ensuring our day-to-day HR operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition: Source and identify potential candidates for the company’s software development and technical positions through various channels (LinkedIn, job boards, etc.).
  • Candidate Screening: Conduct initial phone interviews and screenings to assess candidate qualifications, technical alignment, and cultural fit.
  • HR Administration: Assist with daily administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records and tracking staff attendance/time-off.
  • Meeting Coordination: Schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers across different time zones.
  • Support Services: Assist the HR team with various ad-hoc projects, such as employee engagement initiatives or updating internal HR policies.

Requirements

  • Education: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program (Business, HR, Psychology, or related fields preferred).
  • Language Skills: Native or professional fluency in both English and Mandarin (Chinese) is essential for communicating with our diverse team and candidate pool.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident telephone manner.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Mindset: Highly organized, able to handle confidential information with discretion, and a strong desire to learn UK employment practices.
