Responsibilities The candidate will excel at creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. β Identify, develop, and implement effective sales plans, action plans and strategies β Meet or exceed defined sales targets β Maintain open communication and collaborate with internal cross-functional partners, including product, sales planning, etc. to maximize revenue β Directly contributing to product development process through active participation in product reviews by providing market & client insights β Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the companyβs unique selling propositions and differentiators β Develop strategic relationships with key decision-makers of dealers and customers β Develop leads and build the pipeline β Negotiate pricing, prepare proposals and close sale β Partner with the account management team to service, maintain and grow current clients β Sales payment collection β Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts β Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers Qualifications & Experience β Solid sales experience with construction machinery (ideally excavators) β Solid quota carrying sales experience β Experience and working knowledge of CRM systems β Demonstrable track record of over-achieving quota β Strong written and verbal communication skills β A great work ethic
