Due to fast growing business in UK, currently we look for an experienced Aftermarket Parts Manager to join our young and friendly team, following are details,

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve company objectives.
  • Develop relationship with dealers to maintain strong cooperation.
  • Handle customer complaints immediately and in accordance with the dealership\’s guidelines.
  • Ensure that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment is made.
  • Assist lease with the accounts team and support in the collection of past‑due accounts.
  • Forecast goals and objectives for the department and strive to meet them.
  • Hire, train, motivate, counsel and monitor the performance of all parts department staff.
  • Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts and the do‑it‑self public.
  • Responsible for parts pricing and monitor local competition to ensure pricing stays competitive.
  • Establish individual parts inventory levels and balance them for maximum turnover.
  • Ensure that parts inventory turns established times per year.
  • Monitor and adjust inventory to minimise ageing stock.
  • Supervise SOP and inventory for new models.
  • Set and enforce a policy on the special ordering of parts, ensuring customer expectations are met.
  • Analyze sales to both dealers and customers on a monthly basis.
  • Ensure that the same high‑quality level of service is provided to external & internal customers.
  • Work with the service manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs and warranty.
  • Attend managers meetings and hold daily department meetings.
  • Coordinate a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork.
  • Monitor daily reports / KPI’s to ensure sales and dispatch productivity.
  • Take advantage of all manufacturers\’ inventory co‑op advertising.
  • Develop, enforce and monitor guidelines for working with customers to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Skills And Experience

  • Solid experience in fast‑paced environment, familiar with heavy machinery manufacturing industry. Previously worked in parts, and warehouse environment.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, including by telephone, email and in face‑to‑face situations.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Flexibility dealing with changes in demand, tasks, and processes.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Work on own initiative, be proactive and manage customers and workload with little intervention from the management team.
  • Good time management and prioritisation skills.
