We are seeking a talented and motivated Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at Santos + Co. Working closely with the Head Chef, you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining high food quality standards, and leading the team by example. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled chef looking to grow within a creative and passionate kitchen environment.
- Support the Head Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations and service.
- Assist in menu development, preparation, and execution using seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards are consistently met.
- Supervise, train, and motivate junior kitchen staff.
- Step into a leadership role during service and in the absence of the Head Chef.
- Assist with stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
Proven experience as a Sous Chef or strong experience as a Senior Chef de Partie ready to step up. Solid knowledge of food safety regulations and kitchen best practices. Leadership qualities with the ability to support and guide a kitchen team. Passion for high-quality food and fresh ingredients.
