The Role
We are seeking a Product Development Assistant to join our collaborative and passionate licensing team. As an administrative based role you will support the Brand & Product Development Manager in bringing licensed products to life, ensuring they meet our high-quality standards and align with brand aesthetics. Working within a small team, this role is a fantastic gateway role into the licensing industry offering the opportunity to learn and work across diverse product categories, liaising with international partners, and contributing to the creative and logistical process.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of licensed product ranges, from concept to final production.
- Liaise with licensees, suppliers, and manufacturers to ensure smooth and timely product development.
- Review and provide feedback on product samples, artwork, and packaging.
- Support the creation of presentation materials for internal and external partners.
- Create concept ideas to assist in the pitching of new business development.
- Ensure all products adhere to brand guidelines and licensing agreements.
About You
- A passion for creativity be it written or visual; with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and track deadlines.
- Possess strong academic achievements and demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with external partners.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop), and/or Canva is a plus.
- An enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach.
- Experience in product development, licensing, or a related field (advantageous but not essential).
