We are looking for an Ophthalmology Account Manager based in either the Cambridge, Luton, or Bedford area to cover the East of England territory.
Job Description
As our Ophthalmology Key Account Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in accelerating access to innovative treatments and building meaningful partnerships across the healthcare ecosystem. You will uncover opportunities, influence clinical practice, and accelerate adoption of our ophthalmology portfolio, delivering measurable value for patients, partners, and the business.

Among your responsibilities:
- Own and deliver ambitious sales and market share targets across your territory.
- Develop and execute strategic key account plans aligned to regional priorities.
- Build trusted partnerships with clinicians, decision‑makers, and key stakeholders.
- Drive product adoption by identifying opportunities within secondary care and priority centres.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally (Commercial, Medical, Market Access) to deliver integrated account strategies.
- Translate insights into action, feeding back market dynamics, barriers, and opportunities.
- Champion excellence in customer engagement using a structured, value‑based selling approach.
Qualifications
What you will bring to the role:
- 2–3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry in a Sales Representative or Key Account Manager role within the UK market.
- Proven sales performance and strong commercial acumen, with ownership and resilience to deliver results.
- Experience managing accounts and strong knowledge of the assigned territory, ideally within hospital settings.
- Skilled in influencing multi‑stakeholder decision‑making and navigating complex healthcare environments.
- Good understanding of the UK healthcare systems and market access dynamics.
- Demonstrated ability to engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) across primary and secondary care settings.
- ABPI qualified (essential); ophthalmology and/or product launch experience is a plus.
