This role reports to the Chief Strategy Officer and offers a unique opportunity to influence Santander UK\’s strategic direction. The key responsibilities include:
- Shaping and evolving Santander’s long-term strategic plan in line with business and group priorities.
- Facilitating strategic planning with senior leadership, prioritising initiatives and resource allocation.
- Tracking strategic initiatives, identifying risks, and ensuring delivery and value realization.
- Conducting market and competitive analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Analyzing macroeconomic trends, customer behaviors, and emerging technologies to anticipate market shifts.
- Translating insights into actionable strategies for investment and growth.
- Managing end-to-end strategic projects to ensure timely delivery.
- Evaluating corporate development opportunities and preparing materials for senior management and stakeholders.
- Communicating the bank’s strategy effectively across the organization.
