The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 £ per year.
As a Chief Financial Officer, you will report directly to the SCUK CEO and are a member of SCUK Executive Committee (ExCo), along with other key committees including the Risk committee. The role leads the Finance department and is responsible for the liquidity and funding management, strategic capital, MI and Analysis. Focusing on the company’s funding requirements and strategy along with the investor relations strategy and relationships. You will be developing and delivering the operating and financial results within mandates, policies and values established by the Board and delegations provided by the CEO, striving consistently to achieve the operating and financial objectives set. This role is considered a Senior Manager Function (SMF) under the FCA Senior Manager and Certification Regime (SMCR).
What we’re looking for:
- Significant professional experience of the UK regulatory environment.
- Extensive experience in the finance sector, demonstrable understanding of the automotive finance landscape and an ability to extend this knowledge to wider consumer finance opportunities.
- Previous experience in leading a high performing team to reach their full potential.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of Financial Markets, (money, capital and derivatives) and products, ideally with exposure to the full range of investment, wholesale, private and retail banking products.
- In-depth understanding and proven experience of budgeting and financial planning.
- Knowledge of treasury and ALM.
- Experience of working at Board level – presenting, facilitating and interacting with the most senior business teams.
- Extensive experience of acting as a change agent, leading and managing change programmes and working proactively to make organisational change happen.
- Proven ability to establish personal credibility by building and maintaining trust and confidence with management teams and proactively contributing to organisational success.
