THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE

The Security Manager will be the responsible for the deployment, configuration and management of a diverse suite of essential security controls for the Bank.

You'll collaborate with teams of security and technical specialists along with cloud and infrastructure service providers to ensure quality service and delivery.

In addition, you'll coach cyber security staff from a technical SME perspective.

You’ll be responsible for security deliverables to project and change initiatives during early engagement, direct to approved architectural patterns, support and guide through implementation and validate the solution as part of certification prior to go-live.

  • Preferably educated to a degree level or above in an Information Security related discipline or equivalent work experience.

May also have certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CSSLP or equivalent.

  • Proven and repeatable experience implementing and managing security tooling suites covering areas such as Defender XDR, M365, Data Security, Web/Email controls.
  • Subject matter expert level experience of at least three of the above areas.
  • Current hands‑on experience with m365 / Entra specifically Enterprise Apps, MDCA, App Registration, Identity Governance & Defender suite / XDR.
  • Experience managing and maintaining the smooth running of the Security tooling services and implementing changes in line with IT Service Management processes.
  • Providing technical leadership to a small team of security engineers, combining you SME knowledge and technical experience with research where required to provide guidance on the best answers to emerging challenges.
  • Experience in the financial services sector.
  • Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast past environment, switching between different change activities.
  • Ability to oversee and support the execution of the relevant controls associated with the tooling suites under your management.
  • Familiarity with a number of core security domains: IAM & PAM / Infrastructure / Cloud / Cryptography / Application / Data / Sec Ops.
