Retail & Commercial Banking is a global business integrating all our retail and commercial banking activities to better serve our customers, improve efficiency and drive value creation.
As part of the Corporate and Commercial Banking Business, the role is an Invoice Finance Specialist who will work in specific regions of the UK (for example, the London and South East Business Area or West business area). As an Invoice Finance Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront to deliver new to bank Invoice Finance or Asset Based Lending opportunities and provide critical working capital to customers in the moments that matter. If you’re a great business generator and used to collaborating with Relationship Directors, as well as the external professional market, have a passion for Invoice Finance and want to help existing and prospective clients grow, this could be the role for you.
You’ll be part of a national team delivering a specialist product to clients who typically are looking for working capital to fund growth. Locations currently being considered are London / South East and West Business areas. You’ll be seeking in the market opportunity, collaborating with the local Relationship Directors, constructing quality credit proposals and delivery of the product to exceed the clients' needs.
To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Creating, developing and delivering new pipeline for the business.
- Delivery through new to bank and new to product clients to meet your objectives through new Business Development via Internal and external sources.
- Strong collaboration with the Relationship Director and Business Development community, excellent risk awareness and process adherence to ensure the client experience, risk and product delivery is seamless.
- Supporting the wider Origination team of IF Specialists to drive the business forward.
The following requirements represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities essential for success in this role:
- Product knowledge and Experience of Invoice Finance or Corporate Lending preferred.
- Technical skills in assessing Company Accounts required.
- Strong collaboration and Business generation qualities.
