The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within our Conduct and Compliance risk management framework. You will assess and report on Conduct and Compliance risks, behaviours, and attitudes to support the Compliance Monitoring and Assurance strategy across the UK.

You will lead risk-based assurance reviews, identify risk themes, potential customer harms, and root causes. You will drive corrective actions to mitigate these risks and improve control frameworks.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading planning and execution of compliance monitoring to assess the effectiveness of systems and controls for good customer outcomes and risk management.
  • Managing review teams, ensuring comprehensive scoping, testing, and reporting, considering FCA and other regulatory requirements.
  • Recommending and overseeing timely actions to enhance controls and customer outcomes.
  • Producing high-quality reports communicating findings, risks, and recommendations.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships at all levels.
  • Supporting the development of the Compliance Monitoring Plan and methodology.

Required qualifications and skills:

  • Proven experience leading risk-based compliance reviews focusing on non-financial risks.
  • Deep knowledge of conduct and regulatory risk assurance methodologies and frameworks across banking sectors.
  • Strong understanding of UK regulatory requirements including FCA Handbook and Consumer Duty.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills to evaluate complex issues.

Preferred additional skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills for effective collaboration.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented approach.
  • Effective project and time management skills.
