This role is offered on a Site Based Contract with a Hybrid Working Pattern, which can be discussed with the recruitment team during the hiring process. As a Transaction Monitoring (TM) Product Mapping & Impact Assessment Analyst, you will investigate and prevent data issues within the TM team. Your understanding of how transactional and product data is mapped and captured will be essential to maintain our TM systems' effectiveness. The Difference You’ll Make
- Reviewing product proposals, bank-wide changes, conducting impact assessments and testing.
- Supporting enhancements and resolving issues related to TM models concerning data input and transformation.
- Reviewing business requirements related to data input and transformation.
- Performing exploratory data analysis to understand business problems.
- Managing data ingestions and maintaining reference data for TM systems.
- Managing/supporting product and transaction type code mapping processes.
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within Financial Crime, with technical insight and a focus on data.
- Strong analytical skills and financial interpretation, with the ability to simplify complex data for stakeholders.
- Proficiency with MS VBA/SQL is desirable.
Additional Qualities
- Enthusiasm for solving problems and owning solutions.
- Experience in user acceptance and regression testing.
- Experience in AML investigations or related fields like Fraud investigations.
- Knowledge of payment methods/schemes/types such as Faster Payments, CHAPS, BACS, Cards, SWIFT, ISO 20022, mobile wallets, Open Banking, PSD2.
Additional Information
This is a permanent role, ideally based in Milton Keynes, with options to be based in Glasgow, Bradford, or Liverpool, with travel to Milton Keynes for team activities.
