What you will be doing
This role is offered on a Site Based Contract with a Hybrid Working Pattern, which can be discussed with the recruitment team during the hiring process.
You will serve as a key contact for external policy and engagement expertise, working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure policy adherence. You will stay updated on changes in Financial Crime regulation, legislation, and guidance, and be able to interpret and communicate these in a clear business context.
The difference you’ll make
- Coordinate L2 ECR analysis of relationships within Reputational Risk Process.
- Manage complex advisory queries across multiple policy areas or emerging risks.
- Provide initial guidance on queries from team mailbox and advise the team lead.
- Lead planning and delivery of team communications, including newsletters.
- Review and recommend actions for PAF and PIAP, briefing senior management as needed.
- Support reporting for senior committees, including Board and other forums.
What you’ll bring
- Subject Matter Expert in Anti Money Laundering, Sanctions, or ABC/FOTE.
- Deep or broad understanding of financial crime industry and related political/economic environment.
Additional desirable qualities
- Experience in policy creation at managerial level.
- Strong attention to detail, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent analytical, interpretative, and communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience in developing relationships with senior stakeholders.
