SCIB VP/Director, Sovereign, Supranational & Agency (SSA) DCM Country: United Kingdom Key activities Direct client coverage and execution for Sovereign, Supranational & Agency (SSA) issuers within the Debt Capital Markets (DCM) division of the Investment Bank. Working in the SSA DCM team to actively cover and expend the bank’s Public Sector issuer clients with a particularly focus on those issuers active in EUR, USD and GBP markets. Continue to strengthen the bank’s existing institutional SSA issuer relationships whilst also expanding our scope of coverage and client base across Europe, North America and the Asian region. Generating and marketing new issue trade ideas to the SSA client base, in both public and private debt format. Working with our issuer base on roadshow and marketing opportunities. Involved in execution of bond deals in the public debt markets, working closely with Bond Syndicate, Sales and Trading, Risk Solutions Group, our Global DCM and Syndicate partners, as well as internal and external counsel on transaction documentation. The individual will be responsible for revenue generation, franchise development, and high-profile deal execution while collaborating closely with stakeholders across Global Markets and Investment Banking. What we’re looking for Direct experience in coverage of the SSA issuer client base is required. Demonstrated track record of originating and executing high-profile public sector transactions, including in EUR, USD, GBP and local currency markets. Deep understanding of primary markets, issuance mechanics, and investor dynamics in the public and sustainable finance sectors. Knowledge of relevant regulatory regimes. Strong relationships with key SSA clients and the relevant international investor base. Excellent communication and presentation skills; ability to engage at ministerial and board level. Fluency in English required; additional languages (especially French, German, or Spanish) preferable. Educated to degree level.
