This role involves managing a portfolio of clients within the Edinburgh area in Corporate Banking, focusing on client acquisition, maintenance, relationship development, retention, and risk management.

• Deliver client-centric solutions for existing clients and prospects, collaborating across organization areas to meet their needs.
• Develop and manage customer transactions, support clients, and grow the business.
• Build external relationships to enhance Santander\’s reputation, including developing a professional advisor network.
• Utilize digital tools such as Salesforce, nCino, and digital onboarding to optimize processes.

What you’ll bring

• Deep understanding of the corporate banking sector and strong relationship management skills, including excellent communication.
• Knowledge of risk-return relationships and ability to support returns analysis on lending deals.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems and Office 365.
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and meet deadlines.
• Line management, coaching, and development experience.
• Existing relationships within the Edinburgh/East Scotland business community.
