In this newly created role within the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) team, you’ll be working within the GTB Global Cash Management Liquidity Management team in Liquidity Solutions. You’ll support the ongoing transformation and expansion of the technical Liquidity products across Santander’s global footprint. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in defining the global product roadmap, standardising capabilities and driving the end-to-end development and growth of core liquidity solutions such as Cash Concentration, Transactional FX, and Virtual Accounts. You’ll drive the development, expansion, and governance of Santander’s global liquidity product suite. Working closely with global and local stakeholders, you’ll ensure that products meet client needs, market trends and regulatory requirements, while supporting continued growth and standardisation.
Responsibilities
- Working closely with Global and Local GTB Cash Sales and Product teams to analyse client requirements and industry trends, delivering solutions aligned with GTB’s strategic goals.
- Supporting customer retention and new business growth through the optimisation and evolution of liquidity products.
- Liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure existing liquidity products continue to support business needs and target growth.
- Supporting the identification, design and development of new liquidity products, ensuring alignment with client needs and governance requirements.
- Producing end-to-end documentation required for product approvals, from concept through to full approval.
- Becoming a subject matter expert for internal teams and clients, providing technical expertise across stakeholder groups.
- Maintaining and evolving the Target Operating Model for liquidity products in collaboration with Operations, IT and Front Office teams.
- Centralising and streamlining the global liquidity product offering to deliver a unified global proposition.
- Monitoring and managing global product performance, defining key metrics to drive growth and ensuring reporting is clear and client friendly.
- Operating independently with a high level of ownership and self-motivation.
What you’ll bring
- Knowledge and experience of working with liquidity products and solutions in a global cash management environment.
- Excellent understanding of product development and global banking frameworks.
- Full proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel & PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional environments.

- Experience in product development, pricing, governance and operating model design.
- Additional written and spoken European language skills.

This role is based at our offices in Triton Square, London located within easy walking distance from Warren Street and Euston. We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 3 days a week (pro-rata for part-time roles).
