The Private Debt Mobilization (PDM) team ensures the capital generation for the Group via distribution of assets. This is achieved through an Originate to Share model encompassing the various private-side distribution and structuring teams for Santander’s corporate and institutional businesses (including loan syndicate, structured sales, repackaging, credit insurance, etc.), managing private debt distribution risk and offering bespoke distribution alternatives. In addition, PDM manages the rotation of Santander CIB’s portfolio to increase its profitability and reduce its capital usage.
The Private Credit Insurance team is responsible for the credit insurance product within the bank, distributing the bank’s assets to the insurance market for capital optimisation and limit relief purposes. The team manage the bank’s relationships with the insurance companies and brokers and serve as the conduit between origination and the private credit insurance market.
The difference you’ll make:
- Supporting all stages of a transaction’s life cycle, from origination, structuring and executing of the private credit insurance product.
- Working closely with internal teams, brokers and insurance companies to close transactions in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with necessary governance and operational requirements.
- Monitor ongoing transactions with the help of the Middle Office teams.
What you’ll bring:
- Previous experience in the Private Credit Insurance market.
- Knowledge of Global Banking and Global Transactional Banking products.
- Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Demonstrable ability to take initiative and propose solutions.
- High degree of commitment in a very demanding environment.
It would also be nice for you to have:
- Additional European languages, especially Spanish.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a relevant subject (Engineering, Finance, Science, and Mathematics).
- Postgraduate studies (MBA or equivalent).
