About the Role
Santander is seeking an experienced and highly professional Chauffeur to provide dedicated driving services to the Chief Executive Officer of Santander UK. This is a position of trust and discretion, requiring an individual who can deliver safe, reliable, and seamless transportation while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, punctual, and efficient transportation for the CEO (and any of his guests) to and from meetings, offices, events, and airports as requested by the CEO.
- Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrate flexibility with working hours and availability, adapting to the CEO's schedule which may include early mornings, late evenings and occasional weekend commitments.
- Plan routes effectively, monitoring traffic conditions to ensure timely and safe arrivals.
- Ensure the vehicle is maintained in pristine condition, including regular cleaning, safety inspections e.g. tyres, and regular servicing coordination.
- Support logistical arrangements for travel schedules and assist with luggage or other requirements when necessary.
- Manage travel bookings and overtime hours on company provided equipment.
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a professional chauffeur, ideally supporting senior executives or high-profile clients.
- Excellent knowledge of London and Milton Keynes as base locations, including key financial districts and airports.
- Full, clean UK driving licence with an exemplary driving record.
- Impeccable presentation, punctuality, and professionalism.
- Strong discretion and understanding of confidentiality.
- Flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to adapt to the CEO's schedule.
- Calm, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
- An ability to book travel on nominated IT systems.
- An ability to navigate technology and tools including those for their own work-related administration e.g recording hours worked and to complete mandatory training requirements in line with all Santander employees.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced driving or defensive driving certification in addition to a full, clean UK driving licence.
- Recent experience within corporate, financial services, or private household environments.
