  • Performing technical and impact analysis for application changes, enhancements, infrastructure changes, obsolescence remediation and strategic transformation initiatives.
  • Supporting the design and implementation of solutions across on-premises, mainframe, Unix/Linux and cloud-based environments.
  • Contributing to application modernisation and transformation initiatives, including legacy migration, cloud adoption and application decommissioning.
  • Providing technical leadership and hands-on support for business-critical applications, including participation in 24x7/on-call production support where required.
  • Managing and resolving application incidents and production issues, undertaking root cause analysis and implementing sustainable fixes to improve application stability.

  • Managing application batch processing, scheduling and monitoring, including investigation and resolution of batch failures.
  • Planning and supporting application releases and production deployments, including implementation planning, testing, rollback planning and post-deployment validation.
  • Supporting infrastructure and platform activities including database/server patching, technology upgrades, disaster recovery, high-availability testing and network/infrastructure changes.
  • Ensuring delivery complies with applicable risk, security, regulatory, audit and governance requirements.
  • Supporting testing across SIT, UAT, Pre-Production, Model Office and end-to-end environments, including preparation and review of test plans and results.
  • Using application and operational data to identify trends, investigate issues and support informed technical and business decision-making.
  • Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, communicating complex technical matters clearly and influencing appropriate technical outcomes.
