Santander UK is looking for a Project Manager based out of Unity Place - Milton Keynes. We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Leading the delivery of Santander UK's digital presence and sparrow initiatives.
- Spearheading and being responsible for the delivery of a key business area that’s undergoing a significant transformation.
- Leading a team of over 10+ colleagues within Technology who are working to deliver towards the digital roadmap whilst maintaining an important BAU technology platform and supporting the business needs.
- Working closely with senior leaders within the business, operational, and technical teams to define strategy, prioritisation, and delivery whilst managing a multi-million pound budget, navigating technology governance to ensure timely delivery against cost-saving initiatives.

- Providing leadership, delegation and guidance to project teams by fostering collaboration, facilitating communication and alignment between project stakeholders, including business leaders, IT teams, vendors, and external partners. (REQUIRED)
- Developing comprehensive project plans, including defining scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements as well as managing changes to project scope, schedules, and resources whilst minimising impact on project objectives. (REQUIRED)
- Allocating and managing resources effectively to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget in line with monitoring project expenses and ensuring adherence to allocated budgets. (REQUIRED)
- Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimise potential disruptions and delays ensuring that project deliverables meet quality standards and align with business requirements. (REQUIRED)
- Demonstrates capable knowledge and experiences of IT concepts, processes, technologies within the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) inside of an Agile framework. (PREFERRED)
- Able to respond to shifting priorities while maintaining progress of regularly scheduled work, with the ability to address conflicts and handle multiple concurrent and diverse initiatives. (PREFERRED)
- Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills to communicate project status, negotiate complex discussions and resolve conflicts. Can adapt communication approaches when conducting dialogue with different audiences or conveying messages. (PREFERRED)
- Takes a RiskPRO approach, looking for the positives, and acting with bravery and belief to take well considered risks that can provide opportunities to Santander and driving good outcomes. (PREFERRED)

Salary Range: £61,600.00 - £92,400.00 per annum (depending on experience). This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
