THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Financial Crime CoE is looking for a List Management Analyst based out of Milton Keynes. You’ll support the List Management team within Financial Crime Centre of Excellence, helping Santander meet its legal, regulatory and stakeholder obligations in respect of Financial Crime Compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with excellent numerical reasoning, structured problem-solving and attention to detail to build experience in Financial Crime, analytics, model support and risk management. You’ll work with colleagues across Santander UK, including Business Units, Line 2 Financial Crime, Technology and Operations, supporting controlled processes, analytical investigation, MI and evidence-based decision making.

- Supporting List Management activity through accurate process execution, analytical investigation and robust evidence management.
- Using quantitative, analytical and data-handling capability to support model development, list management activity, data analysis and interpretation of regulatory or conduct requirements.
- Supporting the production, validation and investigation of MI, data extracts and analytical outputs used in List Management and Financial Crime control activity.
- Applying analytical judgement to identify data quality issues, trends, exceptions or anomalies, escalating findings with clear evidence and recommendations.
- Maintaining great audit trails, working papers and supporting evidence in line with governance, assurance and regulatory expectations.
- Supporting appropriate governance for sign-off of procedures, documents and communications.
- Building effective relationships with stakeholders across the Bank, helping promote List Management and supporting fair customer outcomes.
- Identifying opportunities to improve critical processes while maintaining great control standards.

- Professional Experience
- Experience delivering multiple tasks or processes accurately and to a consistent high standard. (Required)
- Experience working with data, including spotting patterns, investigating anomalies and explaining findings clearly. (Required)
- Experience maintaining audit trails, working papers or supporting evidence in a controlled environment. (Required)
- Experience in financial services, financial crime, compliance, risk, operations, data analytics or model monitoring. (Preferred)
- Education
- A degree, apprenticeship, professional qualification or equivalent practical experience in a quantitative, analytical, data or technology-related discipline. (Preferred)
- Relevant backgrounds may include mathematics, statistics, data science, economics, physics, engineering, computer science, operational research or similar. (Preferred)
- Candidates without a degree will be considered where they can demonstrate equivalent analytical capability through work experience, apprenticeships, placements, personal projects or professional training. (Required)

Salary Range: £37,762.00 - £56,642.00 per annum (depending on experience) This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
