The CFO division provides financial reporting and data-driven analytical insight to internal and external stakeholders of Santander. It is a key provider of information that drives decision making in Santander. It also acts as the key liaison with regulatory bodies for financial data.
THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
The Capital Reporting Team in the CFO division is looking for a Capital Manager based out of Unity Place, Milton Keynes.
We have an exciting opportunity to join the Capital Reporting team.
In this role you will work collaboratively with the Senior Manager, colleagues across CFO and numerous other internal stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of regulatory reporting requirements for Capital and Stress Testing as well as análisis of Group capital data and working with the rest of the Capital Reporting to improve processes and enhance understanding of the capital impacts of the bank’s activities.
In addition, you’ll need to stay up to date with regulatory requirements and forthcoming regulatory changes, as you’ll be leading on implementing changes to processes and procedures in response to external requirements and internal innovation.

Acting as a key liaison with the regulator for capital reporting

Engaging with senior management across Santander UK to resolve regulatory reporting issues

Leading on the implementation of regulatory change

Identifying and implementing changes in team activities to improve processes

Drive analytical insight into the key drivers of capital movements, especially in Group reported numbers, within a wider commercial context

Ensure accuracy, timeliness and quality in external reporting

Professional Experience

Experience in working in a finance function (Required)

ACCA/CIMA qualified or equivalent experience (Required)

Stress testing (e.g. ICAAP) (Required)

Driving process change (Required)

Knowledge of regulatory capital regulations (Preferred)

Knowledge of SanUK financial data infrastructure & systems (Preferred)

Salary Range:
£53,500.00 - £80,250.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
