Retail & Business Banking Division focuses on the complete needs of our customers, aligned to our group structure and ambitions as a global business.

The division covers all products – Current Accounts, Savings, Cards, Unsecured Personal Loans, Mortgages, Insurance, Investments. It also includes customer interactions across branches, Work Cafés, contact centres, and wealth and digital channels.


It's also the home of our Financial Support and Vulnerable Customer teams, Santander brands Cater Allen and cahoot, as well as our Universities programme.

THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE


Financial Support (Product Infrastructure) is looking for a Business Analyst & Change Manager based out of Unity Place, Milton Keynes or Santander House, Bradford. 12 Month - FTC


Financial Support are part way through a multi-year transformation programme (Which includes TSB migration) aimed at simplifying processes for our Colleagues, introducing new contact channels for our customers and addressing areas of obsolescence. The Infrastructure & Analytics team within Financial Support Transformation are responsible for managing big, technical change from the ideas phase through to implementation and ongoing BAU product development.


You’ll work collaboratively with I.T, project team and business stakeholders to understand business change needs, translating them into specific requirements which will be addressed by the project.


The work you will do is important. You’ll act as a key interface between the business sponsors, stakeholders, the technology and delivery teams.

Using data capture, modelling and analysis, you will ensure the identified business needs are addressed by the project outputs.


You will facilitate interaction and alignment across stakeholders and will participate in the design process coordinated by the project team, from design approval to functional design completion.


We’re shaping the way we work through innovation, cutting-edge technology, collaboration and the freedom to explore new ideas. To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Producing written documentation to support analysis, reporting on findings, and presenting to stakeholders.
  • Providing challenge and scrutiny around selection of the chosen approach and delivery of the change in support of a successful outcome for the business.
  • Determining and agreeing the best method of introducing change to the business.
  • Defining the analysis approach in line with the strategic vision of the programme and the preferred methodology of the organisation.
  • Using data modelling practices to analyse findings and create suggestions for strategic and operational improvements and changes.

Professional Experience

  • Excellent knowledge of investigation techniques, business process modelling, requirements development and impact assessment. (Required)
  • Experience operating in a project/programme environment, working with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies and meeting deadlines. (Required)
  • Experience of using Debt Manager, CACS and other Financial Support systems. (Required)

Hard Skills

  • Excellent analytical and modelling skills, analytical mindset, evidence-based approach (Required)
  • Problem solving skills (breaking down complex problems into manageable pieces, vetting assumptions, creating frameworks, testing hypotheses) (Preferred)

Soft Skills

  • Excellent stakeholder management, with the ability to work under pressure on multiple projects with differing project timeframes. (Preferred)

Salary Range:


£49,274.00 - £73,912.00 per annum (depending on experience)

This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
