THE DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE
Delivery & Security is looking for a Middle Office Analyst on a 3 month FTC until 30/11/26 based in Manchester. You’ll be part of a team responsible for reviewing legal facility documents and supporting Front Office in managing corporate and commercial customers through the fulfilment process, delivering an outstanding customer experience. Our teams cover all aspects of Corporate and Commercial lending products with a focus on delivering for customers and management of key stakeholders (including Relationship Teams). As part of the Delivery and Security team you will work alongside colleagues responsible for delivering loans and overdrafts for CCB with transaction values up to £350m.
We are focussed on transforming the way we deliver our service to customers through improving digital processes, evolving our documentation and processes and providing more expert legal and operational support to our customers and colleagues.

To succeed in this role, you will be responsible for:
- Operationally reviewing / documenting facility letters (including LMA), amendment letters and other associated lending documentation in line with credit approval, bank policies and system data (nCino), creating financial models and progressing transactions to completion including booking loans on the bank’s systems (ALFA).
- Taking on checking responsibilities to ensure accuracy.
- Liaising with Front Office, Credit and other Santander teams as necessary at each stage of the lending fulfilment process to support the end-to-end customer journey, sometimes under significant time pressures.
- Providing input and, where required, taking ownership of projects undertaken by the Delivery & Security team, including supporting on digitalisation and improvement initiatives.

- Professional Experience
- Experience of working in financial services, preferably in a corporate or commercial lending/securities operations area. (Required)
- Good knowledge of legal lending and securities documentation, processes, controls, policies, procedures and terminology. (Required)
- Banking or law background or qualification. (Preferred)
- Hard Skills
- Excellent organisational and written and oral communication skills. (Required)
- Great investigation, analytical and problem-solving skills. (Required)
- Accuracy and attention to detail. (Required)
- Familiarity with Bank systems (e.g. Salesforce/nCino, ALFA, DocuSign) or otherwise working in a digital environment. (Preferred)

Salary Range: £35,452.00 - £53,178.00 per annum (depending on experience)
This salary range represents the expected remuneration for the role. Annual salary is based on a standard 35-hour working week. Actual salary offered will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
