We are looking for a Loan Agency Analyst based in Manchester to work within Santander’s Corporate and Commercial Banking (CCB) area, delivering best‑in‑class agency service on larger, complex lending transactions.
Responsibilities
- Learn complex lending products, processes, and various lending platforms on the job.
- Deliver excellent customer service to a wide range of external customers as part of a diverse team of lending experts.
- Report to a Team Manager within Lending Services as part of the line management structure.
- Provide invaluable support to internal stakeholders such as Relationship teams, Finance and Control, and others on a daily basis.
- Ensure strict adherence to all internal policies and procedures for our lending products.
- Innovate to improve customer and colleague experience.
Qualifications
Professional Experience
- Experience in syndicated lending (Required)
- Experience working in an operational area within a bank (Required)
Education
- Degree in finance or economics (Preferred)
- Professional qualification from the Chartered Banker Institute or similar (Preferred)
Hard Skills
- Advanced skills in Excel (Preferred)
- Knowledge of complex lending products (Preferred)
- Evidence of dealing with a range of stakeholders and customers (Required)

- Salary Range: £35,452.00 – £53,178.00 per annum, depending on experience.
- £500 annual cash allowance for benefits.
- 27 days’ holiday plus bank holidays; increases to 28 days after 5 years of service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
