Job Purpose

The Pricing Analyst reports to the Pricing Manager and is responsible for implementing pricing policies, maintaining and updating pricing models, and managing the contract hire pricing process. The role supports the development and execution of business pricing policy through profitability analysis, reporting, and providing input on the contract hire portfolio. It also involves conducting regular and ad-hoc analyses, building reports, and handling large data volumes to support internal stakeholders and the wider business.

Key Accountabilities

  • Price Modelling: Manage and maintain dynamic pricing models; Validate key assumptions and assist in building pricing proposals.
  • Price Analysis: Support the Pricing Manager and Senior Pricing Analyst in delivering accurate pricing information; monitor product performance data and flag potential issues to prevent future losses.
  • Technical Advice: Understand and explain external influences such as economic and automotive finance industry factors affecting pricing; explain pricing methodologies for various products (loan, lease, wholesale) and tax considerations impacting profitability.
  • Reporting: Maintain and improve pricing management information (MI) reporting suites under line management guidance; identify and explain key movements in monthly reports to demonstrate data accuracy and financial understanding.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Establish effective communication with manufacturer partners, outsourced teams, JV partners, data providers, and internal departments including Finance, Risk, and Sales.
  • Risk and Compliance: Identify risks, incidents, and breaches in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Other Duties: Perform additional reasonable tasks as requested.

  • Knowledge of SAS is beneficial.
  • Part-qualified or working towards professional accountancy qualifications such as ACA, CIMA, ACCA, CPA, or AAT.

Other Information

  • The role supports hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week at the head office in Reigate, Surrey.
  • Domestic travel may be required occasionally.
  • The successful candidate will commence this role from January 2026.

Remuneration Package

  • Salary range of £32,750 to £36,750 depending on expertise/ experience.
  • Eligibility for an annual bonus up to 15%.
  • Holiday: 25 days plus bank holidays, with flexible holiday scheme option and an additional day after five years of service.
  • Pension: Contributions up to 12.5% by HCUK depending on employee contribution
