We have a great opportunity to join the bank as a Document Management Administrator. Here you’ll have the opportunity to join the Image Products Team; a team responsible for maintaining, supporting, and implementing the various Image and Document Management systems used by the Bank.
Your primary focus will be ensuring the smooth and stable operation of these systems and implementing upgrades and fixes preventing obsolescence. You will get involved in new projects too, onboarding new business areas, consulting with Developers and Business Users and working with them to design, deploy and deliver new configuration to support the bank’s initiatives.

- Managing risk by addressing obsolescence, vulnerabilities, and patching
- Increasing system availability by enhancing monitoring and alerting
- Analysing changes with regards to risk and impact to availability
What you’ll bring:
- 5+ years experience in any IBM Document Management Tool; i.e. IBM Content Manager, IBM Content Manager On Demand or IBM FileNet
- Good knowledge of Linux and Windows admin, scripting and automation
- Knowledge of agile methodologies and the agile development lifecycle; ability to utilize formal agile methodologies, disciplines, practices and techniques for the delivery of new and enhanced applications
- Knowledge of tools, methods and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit, analyse and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
It would also be nice for you to have:
- Experience in Capture and OCR technologies, preferably Kofax Capture with KTM
- Experience in IBM Products configuration (IBM DB2, IBM Websphere, ECS Exposure, IBM Storage Protect)
- Experience with at least one programming or scripting language preferably Java and/or VB.Net
- Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience
What else you need to know:
- This role is based in Milton Keynes.
- We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).
- If you apply for this role in this location, it’s important you consider your travelling distance, time and cost from your home to the office location.
- We’re happy to discuss specific working patterns and arrangement within this hybrid approach during the recruitment process.
- This role is on a Fixed Term contract for 6 months (with an extended possibility)
