Santander Consumer Finance is one of the UK’s Leading Motor Finance companies and we are currently looking for a National Corporate Sales Manager.

This manager will be responsible for developing and Implementing the Sales Strategy for SCUK Corporate Leasing. Delivering the sales volume and profitability objectives of Santander Leasing as well as building out the future corporate sales team.

Please note this is a home-based role with the requirement to have regular face to face meetings in Milton Keynes & Redhill.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Driving Revenue and Sales Growth through Leasing of Cars and LCVs to new and existing Corporate Customers
  • Developing and implementing the go to market Corporate Sales Strategy for Santander Leasing and managing a New Business and Account Development Sales Team
  • Lead and manage a team to develop and maintain long term relationships with strategic Corporate clients
  • Take overall responsibility for the acquisition and on-boarding of Corporate customers
  • Act as the main point of contact for Santander Leasing Corporate Sales
  • Maintain awareness of all relevant SCUK policies and processes
  • Develop and execute the Corporate Leasing Sales Strategy to deliver the sales plan and revenue targets
  • Analyse market trends and customer data to ensure that the go to market Corporate sales channel strategy and product offerings, including ancillary services, will optimise customer satisfaction
  • Expand the Santander Leasing funded fleet by identifying cross selling and up selling opportunities in the Corporate Sales Channel
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure customer onboarding is both smooth and professional
  • Act as a mentor for members of the Leasing Sales team and account managers.
  • Take the Lead on contract negotiations for Large Corporate customers ensuring profitability and compliance
  • Work closely with Legal and risk teams to ensure that the Corporate Leasing strategy aligns with SCUK company policy and regulatory requirements
  • Adhering to our commitment to Consumer Duty ensuring we put our customers’ needs first and set higher and clearer standards of consumer protection

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven track record in Corporate/B2B Sales within Leasing or Fleet Management Sector
  • Ability to oversee complex Leasing Contracts and Tender documents
  • Experience in using CRM and BI tools to deliver customer insights and reporting
  • Represents department and may deputise in Executive level meetings with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Experience/knowledge of the Regulatory environment associated with consumer credit activities, policies and procedures
  • Proven experience of successfully establishing new activities and implementing change
  • Proven experience of leading large multi-functional teams and being able to achieve results through people
  • Ability to translate complicated ideas in a clear and simple proposition to gain buy in from colleagues outside of the immediate function
  • Proven experience of leading a team responsible for a multi-million-pound budget
  • Proven experience of having to react nimbly in a fast-changing market
  • Proven experience of playing a part in the designing and costing bringing new products to market in a mature marketplace
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines and effectively manage conflicting interdepartmental objectives
  • Demonstrates a customer centric approach representing the business with internal and external customers
