Pricing and Commissions Analyst (12 Month FTC)
Santander Consumer Finance UK (SCUK) is based in Redhill, Surrey, and provides motor finance to a network of car dealerships throughout the United Kingdom. We are currently looking for a Pricing & Commission Analyst to join the Finance team on a 12 Month Fixed Term Contract in a hybrid role which requires you to work at least 3 days a week in the office.
In this busy role you will be a Subject Matter Expert on commissions, performing financial reconciliations of dealer balances to FIBA and support the wider business with expert knowledge on commissions. You will also provide support to key areas currently covered by the Pricing and Commissions Department such as Commissions, Pricing, MI and Commercial Debt Recovery.
Responsibilities will include:
- Commercial Debt Recovery: extracting and reconciling correct dealer statements, assisting with sending letters to dealers, deputising for Commercial Recoveries Manager, liaising with Commercial Team, performing debit back adjustments, escalating issues, chasing dealers for outstanding volume bonus balances.
- Commissions Accounts: processing commission and dealer performance bonus payments, ensuring monthly DPB reports are correct, obtaining correct approvals for DPB payments, performing subsidy refunds and commission adjustments.
- Quality Control: performing Line 1 Quality Assurance checks, acting as a respondent for internal and external audit.
- Finance Control: producing technical calculation documents, identifying process improvements, implementing solutions.
- Training: maintaining and enhancing existing knowledge, supporting delivery of training for new starters, involving the team in development of ideas to improve business performance.
What weβre looking for someone who has:
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel.
- The ability to work independently and effectively with minimal guidance.
- Strong organisation skills and who can meet deadlines/prioritise work.
- The ability to work to tight deadlines and well under pressure.
- A proactive attitude, who is self-motivated, task-focused and has initiative.
- Work experience in the Motor Finance sector (desirable β not essential).
- Work experience performing reconciliations (desirable β not essential).
