Role Overview

Santander is looking for a Customer Experience Advisor based out of Yeovil Branch, working 35 hours per week on a rota’d basis Monday to Saturday, between 8 am & 6 pm. This 12‑month fixed‑term contract will see you as the friendly face and voice of Santander, handling simple cash transactions, assisting with technology in the banking hall, transacting over the phone, and protecting customers against fraud and scams. Your adaptability and support from the close‑knit team will be essential to thrive in a multi‑skilled environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers in branch or over the phone
  • Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and servicing
  • Answer customer calls into our contact centre
  • Build relationships and find solutions
  • Develop knowledge of services and products to help customers
  • Identify new ways to improve the customer experience

  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service either face‑to‑face or via telephony (Required)

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary Range: ÂŁ25,000.00 – ÂŁ31,579.00 per annum (depending on experience). Salary is based on a standard 35‑hour working week and will depend on skills, experience, qualifications and location.
  • ÂŁ500 annual cash allowance to spend on benefits.
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, increasing to 26 days after 5 years of service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.

  • We contribute 8% of your salary to a pension, even if you don’t contribute. If you contribute, we pay up to 12.5% of your salary and can offer part of our contribution in cash.
