About the Role

Santander Corporate & Investment Banking (SCIB) is Santander's global division that supports some of the world's most complex and sophisticated corporate and institutional clients, offering customised services and value-added wholesale products to best meet their needs.

The Marketing & Communications team designs, executes and monitors the marketing, internal communications and social media plans in line with the SCIB business strategy and the corporate marketing and brand guidelines.

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive candidate to support event management across the UK and Europe.

You will work with international teams to plan, coordinate and deliver a wide range of corporate events, including client conferences, digital investor meetings, client hospitality and webinars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide full end-to-end event management, including strategy, planning, execution and post-event evaluation.
  • Manage event budgets, supplier negotiations, contracts and venue sourcing.
  • Coordinate all event logistics, including catering, demonstrations and virtual event requirements.
  • Manage event registration platforms and CRM applications.
  • Ensure consistency of approach, adherence to best practices and maintenance of high event management standards.

Requirements

  • Previous marketing and event management experience ideally within Financial Services.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set clear priorities, manage supplier relationships and budgeting and invoicing.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Marketing, Advertising or Business.
  • Results and detail oriented, with strong project management skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and engagement skills and the ability to work autonomously.
  • A hands‑on and solution‑driven attitude.
  • Willingness to travel within the UK/Europe at least once per month for 2-3 days.

  • Experience with Salesforce marketing.
  • Fluency in Spanish or other European languages.
