Job Overview

Santander is looking for a Customer Experience Advisor based in the Hereford Branch. The role requires working 260 hours per annum, which equates to 5 hours per week for a rota‑d basis Monday to Saturday between 8am and 6pm. This is a Lifestyle 260 role that supports our customers across the branch, over the phone and via technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for customers in branch or over the phone.
  • Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and servicing.
  • Answer customer calls into our contact centre.
  • Build relationships and find solutions for customers.
  • Develop your knowledge of services and products to help customers.
  • Identify new ways to improve the customer experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service, face‑to‑face or via telephony (Required).
  • Strong communication skills to understand customer needs (Required).
  • Real desire to go above‑and‑beyond for customers (Preferred).
  • Effective team working skills with a flexible, can‑do approach (Preferred).
  • Openness to a broad range of activities, even outside of standard expectations (Preferred).
  • Ability to grow, adapt and change accommodating business needs and priorities (Preferred).
  • Right to work in the UK (Required).

Benefits & Remuneration

  • Salary Range: £25,000.00 – £31,579.00 per annum, dependent on experience. Annual salary based on a standard 35‑hour working week.
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (increases to 26 after 5 years of service; option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year).

  • 8% pension contribution from the company; up to 12.5% if you contribute as well, with a cash option.
