Customer Experience Advisor – Colchester Branch
Santander is seeking a Customer Experience Advisor based at the Colchester Branch to work 35 hours per week on a rota basis Monday to Saturday between 8am & 6pm. As a frontline member of our team you will be the friendly face and voice of Santander, listening to customers and solving problems across cash transactions, technology, telephone and fraud protection. You will operate in a fast‑moving, multi‑skilled environment, adapting to a broad range of activities and collaborating with colleagues to deliver innovation and customer‑centric service.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the first point of contact for customers in‑branch or by telephone.
- Assist with day‑to‑day transactions, queries and services.
- Answer customer calls into our contact centre.
- Build relationships and identify solutions for customers.
- Develop knowledge of Santander services and products to support customers.
- Identify new ways to improve the customer experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service in face‑to‑face or telephony environments (Required).
- Effective communication skills to understand customer needs (Required).
- Desire to go above and beyond for customers (Preferred).
- Strong team‑working skills with a flexible, can‑do approach (Preferred).
- Openness to a broad range of activities even beyond standard expectations (Preferred).
- Ability to grow, adapt and change in line with business needs and priorities (Preferred).

Salary & Benefits:
- Starting salary of £25,000 plus a £500 annual cash allowance.
- 25 days holiday (increases to 26 after 5 years) plus bank holidays; option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
