At Openbank, we are building a global, digital-first automotive platform, connecting customers, dealers, OEMs, and partners to deliver seamless financing and mobility solutions at scale. This is a unique opportunity to join a high-impact global team at the centre of our automotive transformation. You'll play a critical role in shaping how finance is embedded directly into partner ecosystems, from dealer channels and OEM platforms to digital marketplaces and direct-to-consumer journeys.
Working with some of our biggest and most important global partners, you will own and shape the strategy, definition and delivery of embedded finance products that help our partners sell more vehicles, while creating brilliant customer experiences. This role is ideal for a product manager who thrives at the intersection of customer insight, commercial strategy, technology and delivery.
Responsibilities- Product Strategy & Roadmap: Define the product vision and roadmap for embedded finance capabilities across global automotive channels. Identify opportunities through market insight, customer behaviour and partner strategy. Translate business needs into clear product propositions, MVP scope and phased delivery plans. Prioritise initiatives and make clear trade-off decisions based on customer value, technical feasibility and commercial impact. Lead the exploration of how we can harness the opportunities of agentic AI, using intelligent automation to transform customer and partner journeys, while maximising the discoverability and lead generation across AI channels.
- Solution Design & Delivery: Lead discovery and solution design with engineering, data, operations, risk and commercial teams. Define what needs to be built to solve real customer and partner problems. Own product requirements, backlog priorities and delivery milestones. Be accountable for successful launch of product capabilities into production. Ensure solutions are scalable, modular and adaptable across global and local market needs. Drive delivery outcomes from concept through launch and post‑release iteration.
- Partner Relationships: Build strong working relationships with global OEMs, dealer groups, importer networks and marketplaces. Develop a deep understanding of partner strategies, priorities and growth plans. Collaborate with commercial and account teams to shape joint propositions and initiatives. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders internally and externally.
- Performance & Outcomes: Use data and analytics to drive product performance and commercial outcomes. Monitor funnel performance, conversion, approval rates and acquisition efficiency. Identify opportunities to improve customer journeys and increase partner value. Lead post‑launch reviews and continuous optimisation cycles. Drive ROI through smarter processes, automation and product enhancements.
