An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join a high-performing boutique Executive Search firm operating at the very top of the Investment Banking and Hedge Fund markets. This role is designed for highly driven, commercially minded individuals who want accelerated career progression, elite training, and exposure to some of the most influential decision-makers in global finance.

This specialist Executive Search firm is widely recognised as a market leader in CFO and senior finance hiring across the UK and Europe. Despite its boutique size (20 consultants), the business competes with and outperforms global search firms through deep market expertise, trusted client relationships, and exceptional delivery. Each consultant specialises in a clearly defined market. The desk you join will focus exclusively on Investment Banking, working with top-tier institutions and senior leadership teams. You will gain direct client exposure, attend face-to-face meetings, and rapidly develop the commercial and technical knowledge required to succeed in executive recruitment.

Responsibilities
- Attending client briefing meetings to understand senior-level hiring needs
- Mapping the market to identify top talent, competitor firms, and industry movement
- Creating shortlists of high-calibre candidates for client review
- Conducting in-depth candidate outreach and interviews
- Pitching exclusive client opportunities to senior professionals
- Supporting candidates through the full interview and offer process
- Providing market insight and strategic advice to clients and candidates
- Producing detailed post-search market reports for stakeholders
Candidate Profile
- Degree educated (2:1 or above) in any discipline
- Strong commercial awareness and interest in finance or professional services
- Naturally inquisitive with a desire to learn fast
- Highly driven, competitive, and ambitious
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience in a client-facing or customer-focused role (sales, hospitality, internships, etc.)
