Reporting to the CTO, the role is based in London HQ with 500 employees and offers a salary of £120K to £150K base plus bonus. The position requires onsite presence 3 days a week in London, and candidates must be living within commuting distance to the central London office.
The company is a successful Services & Marketplace business, considered one of the leaders in its field. Following a recent Private Equity sale and strategic acquisition, the company is looking for an experienced Programme & Delivery Director to work closely with the CTO.
Large scale projects are planned across AI, Data Analytics, CRM integrations, SAP upgrades, Website migrations, UI / Mobile Development, Internal operating tools, and M&A. The role is suited for a Programme Lead with a digital transformative background who will embed a rigorous, new Agile consistent way of working across the organisation, ensuring that programmes and projects consistently deliver measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish a cohesive delivery operating model.
- Implement structured mechanisms for programme and project planning.
- Develop and embed iterative delivery frameworks.
- Programme Leadership and Execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Communication: Build and lead a team of Programme Managers and Delivery Leaders.
Experience & Background:
- 7+ years of program management experience of progressively increasing responsibility.
- Experience within Agile, Kanban, Scrum, OKR setting.
- Experience with AWS essential.
- Experience in JIRA or equivalent tools for software development.
- Sector experience: Enterprise Software, VC/PE late stage scaleups, Advertising, Media, B2C, D2C.
- Experience delivering large digital-related projects.
- In-depth understanding of the digital development process and technologies.
- Managed distributed or remote team members.
- Some travel may be required to the US and EU.
