  • We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic

Bar Manager to lead our bar team and help deliver an exceptional drinks experience that complements our authentic Italian menu.

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Lead, motivate, and support the bar team to deliver exceptional service.
  • Prepare weekly rotas and allocate duties effectively.
  • Recruit, train, and develop new and existing team members.
  • Foster a positive team culture and maintain high performance standards.
  • Guest Experience
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and ensure every guest enjoys a memorable experience.
  • Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements where needed.
  • Work closely with the restaurant management team to maintain excellent service standards.
  • Drinks & Menu Development
  • Create and develop seasonal cocktails, Italian aperitifs, and beverage specials.
  • Ensure all team members have excellent product knowledge through regular training.
  • Promote Italian wines, classic cocktails, and premium spirits to enhance the guest experience.
  • Health & Safety
  • Ensure compliance with all licensing laws, food safety regulations, health and safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised bar environment.
  • Identify maintenance requirements and report issues promptly.
  • Stock Management
  • Manage stock ordering, deliveries, and monthly inventory.
  • Minimise waste and maintain accurate stock records.
  • Ensure the bar is fully stocked and prepared for service at all times.
  • Financial Performance
  • Control beverage costs, wastage, and labour costs while maintaining excellent quality.
  • Support senior management in achieving sales and profitability targets.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience as a

Bar Manager , Assistant Bar Manager, or Head Bartender in a busy hospitality environment.

  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • A genuine passion for Italian food, wines, cocktails, and hospitality.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Positive attitude, energy, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Fluent English; Italian language skills would be an advantage but are not essential.
  • Personal Licence Holder (desirable but not essential).

Salary from £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience.
