About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Manager to lead our Children's Residential Home. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring high-quality care, safeguarding, and positive outcomes for children and young people. You will lead and develop a dedicated staff team, maintain compliance with Ofsted regulations, and create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where young people can thrive.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the home.
- Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations 2015.
- Lead, supervise, and develop the staff team.
- Recruit, induct, and retain high-quality staff.
- Ensure children receive person-centred care and support.
- Manage rotas, staffing levels, and on-call arrangements.
- Maintain effective relationships with local authorities, families, and external professionals.
- Monitor safeguarding, health and safety, and risk management processes.
- Oversee budgets, records, and reporting requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of care.
