We are looking for a caring, motivated, and experienced Senior Support Worker to join our children's residential home. You will help provide a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment for young people while leading shifts and supporting the staff team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead shifts and support the day-to-day running of the home.
  • Build positive relationships with children and young people.
  • Support young people with their daily routines, education, and personal development.
  • Ensure care plans are followed and records are kept up to date.
  • Provide guidance and support to Residential Care Workers.
  • Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children at all times.
  • Work closely with managers, families, and other professionals.
  • Support staff development through coaching and supervision.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential care setting.
  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership role is desirable.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A positive role model with a passion for helping young people achieve positive outcomes.
  • A flexible approach to shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
